Brick Slip Systems

Slip systems comprise a rigid backing panel fixed to the substructure on site onto which brick slips are fixed using a purpose -made adhesive. A specialist pointing mortar completes the installation in the traditional manner.

Slips supplied complement our range of facing bricks including handmade, wirecut, extruded and stock slips. Different brick bonds such as stretcher, stack, Flemish and English can be easily achieved using the slip system.

Brick details such as corbels and dentil courses can be incorporated by altering the thickness of the finishes from 15mm to 35mm. External corners, soldier courses and reveals can be achieved by the use of L-shaped pistol slips, also supplied.

Being lightweight, brick slips provide a method of finishing areas where traditional brickwork cannot be incorporated, such as staggered gables or balconies on framed structures. Brick slips are also up to 3 times faster to install than traditional brickwork.
